"This little cockatoo is doing a fine job helping me with my photography," says Deb Sandidge. "I've always wanted an assistant, and this one is very cute. She managed to munch on my tripod, camera bag and even my toes - she can multi-task! She lives at the Brevard Zoo in Melbourne, Florida, a wonderful place for photography! Her friends include colorful lorikeets, friendly macaws, and a very interesting kookaburra. The macaws at the zoo are just beautiful.

"The parrot below was given a painterly look with Topaz Labs Simplify, which removes some of the detail and makes the image a little more artistic. I hope to see you at my webinar on Topaz Labs Simplify this Friday, March 25th!"

Jim Zuckerman Shares His Creativity in Nik Webinar!

A number of exciting things are happening this month as BetterPhoto.com celebrates its 15th anniversary!

Coming up on March 30 is an exciting - and inspiring - hourlong webinar in the partnership between Nik Software and BetterPhoto. This latest live event in the BetterPhoto series is "Enhancing your Travel Images with Jim Zuckerman".

One of the top pro instructors at BetterPhoto's online digital photography school, Jim Zuckerman will share his tips on creating stunning travel images using various Nik filters." Here's more from Nik:

"Jim will show you how to create works of art with pictures that are already in your files, and he will discuss what the looks for in choosing images for his favorite Nik filters.
