I received my new business cards today and I have to say...
I LOVE my Moo cards!
- They are very thick.
- They are made of 100% recycled paper.
- They make me look like a super star of a photographer!
Yes, they cost 44 cents a card... compared to 30 cents for my bi-fold cards and 12 cents for regular business cards (and I'm sure you can get cheap, cheap ones as well, if you really want to skimp... but what photographer would ever want to skimp on photographic business cards?).
But here's the deal:
Each card shows off a different photo in my collection.
I honestly don't know how Moo can afford to make these cards and sell them as inexpensively as they do. Having a box of 50 unique business cards - each with an individual photo - for $22 is sooooo awesome. Every time I offer a business card, I host a mini-slideshow. The recipient gets to choose which photo they like the best. That experience right there is worth the 44 cents per card price.
I'm confident that the experience of sharing a mini portfolio show will be worth it every time.

P.S. Thanks to Thom Hogan for sharing his own Moo collection with me at B&H Photo two months ago. You had me at "pick your favorite card".
P.P.S. I get no kick back or affiliate commission for this... I just love these cards! Pick your favorite 50 photos and go order these this week... then come back and thank me when you're thrilled with the results.
P.P.P.S. I can't wait until the next time we meet in person. Remember to make my day and ask me for a card :)

Hi Jim,
I have MOO cards too, and they are a real hit! I always enjoy that little space in time when people have a hard time choosing which card they want :) They are especially great since they are double sided having your photo on one side and your contact info, or whatever info you want, on the other.
Anne.
