Back from the Great Smoky Mountains and WOW - what a beautiful place! Of course it didn't hurt that I was with my good friends Tony and JZ. I had a wonderful time both photographing and just catching up with old friends.
Here are a few pics. This is one of my favorites. I think I'm going to call it "House of the Flying Dogwoods":
One morning we were blessed with the most amazing mist among the trees:
And another morning we were blessed with the most amazing fog. These are the kind of times that make photographers giddy with excitement.

WOW!!! That last photo is absolutely gorgeous.
One day I will take a photo that is half that good and I will be happy :)
Thanks for sharing
Regards
Tracy

Hi Tracy - thanks so much for your kind feedback. The fog was incredibly unusual and special that morning. I too am so thrilled. The moral of the story: whenever you see fog, stop and shoot :)
When you get your own great "foggy photo", let me know. I'm sure it will be sooner than you think.
Best wishes and thanks again!

Looking good, buddy! We hit everything pretty well for both workshops, also. Great time of year! We're back one more time next Sunday for a print workshop with Jim White!

I am jealous. I know you are a professional photographer, but I am jealous, lol. The pic of the running water and fog is just breathtaking. I wish once in my lifetime I can capture a pic just like that. Maybe with lots of practice, lol.
