Hi Friends!
I hope you've had a wonderful week of photography! I recently returned from a fantastic trip to the slot canyons of Arizona ... how beautiful and inspiring they were!
In podcast #7 of the weekly BetterPhoto Digital Photography Show, I discuss how lighting can totally transform the look of a scene. In the gallery for the podcast, I share two photos of Horseshoe Bend - same composition, different days.
One image shows how early-morning light left a bluish cast on this spectacular landscape. The other shows this scene in midday under a cloudy sky. What an amazing difference! The overcast sky acted like a giant softbox that diffused the light and cast a warm glow across the land. The white sky really brought to life the colors of Horseshoe Bend.
Here's show #7:

Have fun and enjoy the show!

not sure what happened to the podcast in iTunes but i'm getting an invalid address for the subscription. I'm not getting anything after #6 to show up in iTunes. Maybe have a look and see if something is missing or broken. Thanks
