Hello everybody!
Have you ever tried to listen to a Mozart piano concerto or Beethoven symphony while driving in loud traffic? It's almost impossible - the sounds of the traffic and the sounds of your car driving drown out the fine music.
In the same way that noise pollution makes it difficult for us to concentrate, visual noise (AKA distracting elements) cause your viewer difficulty when trying to appreciate your photographic message.
And that's the topic of our second show:
http://www.betterphoto.com/podcasts/show002a.mp3
By turning down the volume on those extraneous elements in your photos, you turn up the volume on your subject, allowing your viewers to really enjoy your photography.
Have fun!

Jim , i've been waiting for this podcast since so long, congratulations!!
A recommendation : PLEASE CHANGE THE NAME pf the PODCAST since i've been looking for it in itunes and appears as Jim's Journal , something dificult to associate with a photography podcast ;)
cheers!

Hi Ruben,
I really appreciate the suggestion. In fact, I've done just that: the name is now "The BetterPhoto Digital Photography Show" so hopefully this will get updated soon in iTunes. Thanks and best wishes for 2006!
