Hello Everyone,
I am starting my day with a quick reflection on how fortunate I feel to be working for BetterPhoto.com. I get to work with good friends and for someone who really believes in his company, his employees and his members: Jim Miotke. You wouldn't believe it, but only 2 years ago, I didn't even know how to copy/paste! With Jim's incredible patience and never wavering confidence, I have learned so much about the behind-the-scenes management of a website, tech support and most importantly photography.
This is my public "ode" to Jim, as I have found his latest book: The BetterPhoto Guide to Digital Photography to epitomize his patient and thoughtful teachings on digital photography. Not to mention the hundreds of gorgeous colored photos!
Just yesterday we received our HUGE order of Jim's brand new book. We could not let this momentous occasion slip by without a little fanfare. How many of us can say that we have authored not one, but two books? So, I am happy to share some photos of our mini book signing party.

Hi Heather, you are too kind! I'm blushing. You've been such a great friend and I can't imagine where we'd be if you didn't step up to the plate back in March of 2003, when Denise and I went off to Russia. You're the best! BetterPhoto would not be where it is today - and this book would never have been published - if it were not for wonderful friends like you :)
